More than a processing company
Pitiku Plantations & Industries was founded with a clear purpose: to build sustainable rural industries that create jobs, generate income, and strengthen the communities they serve.
Based in the Afram Plains of Ghana's Eastern Region, we started with the conviction that locally grown root crops, cassava and sweet potato, could be processed into world-class products right here, close to where they're grown.
That conviction has shaped every decision since then. From investing in state-of-the-art processing plants, to consistently and gradually expanding production within our 17,000 acres farm bank and building partnerships with thousands of smallholder farmers.
Today, Pitiku operates three production lines with a combined daily output of 140 metric tons. Our products, starch, flour, and gari, serve industries across Ghana and international markets, including paper manufacturing, food processing, cosmetics, animal feed, and pharmaceuticals.

An integrated supply chain

Nucleus Farm
We cultivate over 3,000 acres of cassava and sweet potato across the Afram Plains, and we keep expanding. Our nucleus farm supplies the majority of our raw material needs, giving us direct control over crop quality and harvest timing.
Outgrower Network
Alongside our own farm, we work with thousands of smallholder farmers in surrounding communities. This outgrower scheme ensures consistent supply while providing reliable income for farming families across the region.
Processing Plants
Our facility houses three dedicated production lines: Starch (100 MT/day), Flour (20 MT/day), and Gari (20 MT/day). They are maintained by in-house technicians and a founding team with deep hands-on plant expertise.
The communities we operate in have long had the land, the labour, and the raw materials. What they needed was industry. Every metric ton we process represents farm income for a smallholder family, a wage for a factory worker, and school fees for the next generation.
